Steam engine, Linton Mills
Newton, Bean & Mitchell uniflow steam engine named Victor. This was long derelict and is now preserved in workable order at Bradford Industrial Museum. Not many people ever got to see this engine and there are few in situ photographs available. Colin Bowden's excellent book The End of a Revolution: The Last Days of Stationary Steam shows this and many other fine engines.
