Diesel Locomotive
Diesel Locomotive
This is a locomotive built by Hudswell Clarke & Co.Ltd. at their Railway Foundry in Leeds. It was supplied to the "Mersey Docks & Harbour Board" who gave it the Number 45. Now restored to full working order by a small group of volunteers at the East Somerset Railway, the locomotive has had Vacuum Brake Equipment fitted to enable it to be used with the coaching stock in use at Cranmore.
