Rugby - Midland Station
Rugby - Midland Station
One of the longest island-style platforms in the country with up to eight different platforms in its prime. It lost its lines to Leicester, Leamington and Peterborough in the 1960s and more recently its huge glass roof. The tunnel under the station is low and becomes single lane halfway under making it a bottleneck on the main route to Brownsover from the town centre. For a more recent view after the makeover.
