TM0089 : Austin A40 at the Esses, Snetterton, about 1960
near to Eccles Road, Norfolk, Great Britain

Austin A40 at the Esses, Snetterton, about 1960
At this time the track had the Norwich Straight alongside the A11 road, a hairpin bend, then the home straight taking this fast left hander into the Esses, the second part of which is now known as the Bomb Hole. These straights and the hairpin have now been given over to the Sunday Market, shops and other entertainment items.
Spectator protection has advanced a little in this scene, but the marshals are certainly rather casual.
