Exning Halt Bridge
Exning Halt Bridge
The bridge was built by the Cambridge & Mildenhall railway in 1884. Exning Road Halt was opened in November 1922, and the line closed in 1962. The halt was situated to the south of the bridge, access was by a footpath down the side of the bridge approach, a little higher than the gap in the hedge. The bridge was found to be dangerous, and was filled in c.2000.
