Greystones Motel (Trecastle Services) stands on the A40 opposite the turning to Llywel, in the north-west of this square. It has been abandoned since at least the mid '90s, and during the Foot and Mouth Disease Crisis of 2001 was used first as a police base, then by protesters against the burning and burial of infected livestock on the nearby Epynt Ranges.
