near to Hayes, Bromley, Great Britain

Station Approach, Hayes (Kent)
Taken from near the station. The railway from Elmers End to Hayes was opened in 1882 but little development took place in the area until the line was electrified in 1925. In the wake of electrification came roads of semi-detached houses and Tudor-style shopping parades such as this.
