Mickle Fell's frosted (minus 3C) summit cairn, looking north. Though arguably not the true natural summit, the top of this large cairn is surely the highest point. The camera captured a fleeting view of Cow Green Reservoir some 5km to the north, as the low-cloud briefly lifted. Taken on 27 December 2008 at 12:00 noon - G4YSS.
