The Snake Pass Summit looking to the Bleaklow Plateau
The left hand skyline is the rocks at Higher Shelf Stones, the pic was taken from the A57. Bales of heather brash can be seen in the left hand foreground and either side beyond the gate. They are being air lifted onto Bleaklow Plateau by Moors for the future, to regenerate vast areas of bare peat moorland.
