Site of Moore Mill
Site of Moore Mill
Looking in the direction of Hanwell, this bend in the road is where Moore Mill once stood (on the left by the bend in the road). Fed by a channel dug from Sor Brook (which runs under the bridge in the picture), it closed down in 1895, and was home of my Great Great Great Grandfather. Moore Mill had stood here since at least 1249.
