Over forty years after absorption into the city of Birmingham, the ancient centre of Yardley retains its rural tranquility in this view looking towards St Edburgha's church and the Trust School. Note the pre-Worboys "road narrows" warning sign at the left, hardly necessary in view of the absence of traffic.
