This feature is shown on the OS map as an enclosure and comprises a rectangle ditch and earthbank, each side being about 20m. Only one corner is shown here and in the '60s excavations revealed Iron Age pottery. In the distance on Easby Moor stands a monument to Capt. James Cook.
