The site that can be seen across the fields comprises HMP Highdown, a Young Offenders facility and HMP Downview, a closed Women's Prison housed in the converted Nurses' Home of Banstead Hospital. I am not sure which buildings belong to which prison but it may be that somebody else will have this information. Taken from the London Loop footpath.
