TL0100 : St. Mary Magdalene, Flaunden

St. Mary Magdalene, Flaunden
St. Mary Magdalene, Flaunden
This is the first church designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, most famous for his design of St. Pancras station. Erected in 1838, it was a new church replacing one in the older part of the village closer to the River Chess. I think it looks very attractive because of its simple brick and flint construction .
