Burns Monument
Burns Monument
This cairn was erected to honour the roots of Robert Burns, whose father, William Burness farmed at Clochnahill in Aberdeenshire before moving south to Ayrshire and settled in Alloway where Robert was born. The cairn is next to the A90 just south of Stonehaven and overlooks the land William Burness farmed.
