The clock tower of the Burgh Buildings in Galashiels
The clock tower was added to the original Burgh Chambers (1867) in 1923-7 by Robert S Lorimer. The tower is topped with a finial of the town crest depicting a fox trying to reach the ripe fruit on a plum tree. Viewed from the east at the Tesco car park.
