West end of Cliffs at Arbroath with a view of Bell Rock Lighthouse
The Lighthouse is situated on a partially-submerged reef about 11 miles off the east coast of Angus. Built by Robert Stevenson (grandfather of Robert Louis Stevenson) between 1807 and 1811. It is the oldest offshore lighthouse still standing anywhere in the world.
