The West Tower - St Mary the Virgin
The West Tower - St Mary the Virgin
Somerset is renowned for its great perpendicular church towers and this is one of them. Standing at 104 feet high with battlements and pinnacles, the tower has three belfry windows abreast filled with Somerset tracery.
The North tower, a hundred years older, is visible in the left of the photograph.
