A cup-marked stone lying outside the chapel at Kilchiaran. Stones such as these date from the Bronze Age (2,500 - 600BC). One of the cup-marks, on the right-hand side of this shot, has been completely worn through the stone. (Information source: "Islay" by Norman S Newton).
