The Coventry Canal towards Fradley, Staffordshire
This section of the canal was actually built by the Grand Trunk Canal Company because the Coventry Canal Company (who planned it) was delayed by many years through shortage of money. Eventually the Coventry Company bought it, but could not fully reclaim the whole route from Coventry because the Birmingham and Fazeley Company built the six miles or so south of Whittington.
