Northern Henge, Thornborough
Northern Henge, Thornborough
The northern henge of the Late Neolithic triple-henge complex at Thornborough is the best preserved, partly due to its tree coverage. In this photograph, you can just make out the circular inner ditch, curving through from bottom left through the centre. The central henge is in square SE2879 and the southern henge is in square SE2878
