Batten Bay
Batten Bay
This shingly beach faces Plymouth Sound. The area is popular as can be seen from the overflow car park behind; this was constructed on the site of airmens' quarters demolished after the RAF vacated the base. Another perspective is seen of the defensive tower built after the English Civil War.
