Falmer Station
Falmer Station
Looking east from platform two which is the westbound platform. This was the second station to be built for the village of Falmer. The original was to the east of the village and was moved in the late 19th century at the request of the owners of Stanmer Park. The sleepy country station burst into life in the mid 1960s when both the University of Sussex and Brighton Polytechnic built their campuses nearby. Now it is a busy station particular during the academic year.
