Worlds First Open Sea Tidal Turbine
Worlds First Open Sea Tidal Turbine
2nd September 2008 - On a clear day just trying to photograph the seagull on the rocks at Lynmouth. The result showed the coast of Wales (near NASH POINT?) and this curious installation. It is the world's first open sea tidal turbine, put into operation just off Foreland Point at Latitude 51 degrees 15.3 minutes North, Longitude 3 degrees 47.5 minutes West. On Monday 16th June 2003 the installation was officially inaugurated.
