Numbering, The Cannon
Numbering, The Cannon
On the right hand side of the Russian cannon which sits outside Ludlow Castle. The inscriptions from what appears to be Charles Gascoigne's foundry in Kronstadt date the casting to 1799.
The cannon is a trophy from the Crimean War.
