Memorial to members of the Bosanquet family
Memorial to members of the Bosanquet family
On the south wall of St. Dingat's is this memorial to Samuel Richard Bosanquet (b. 1 April 1800, d. 27 December 1882) and his wife Emily, (nee Courthope). They had 12 children.
The Bosanquet family were of Huguenot origin. The family fled to England from Lunel, Montpellier, France, in 1685 following the revocation of the edict of Nantes.
I'm not sure what material the memorial is made from but it could do with a good clean.
