Earthworks at Dingestow
During its construction in 1182, Dingestow Castle was attacked by the Welsh and is thought to have been abandoned as no stonework has been found. There are two enclosures surrounded by ditches and a stream on the western side.
View is looking across the ditch towards the vicarage, which is just visible behind the mound.
