Suspension Bridge and Bothy at Camasunary
Suspension Bridge and Bothy at Camasunary
This bridge was washed away and so far as I am aware has not been replaced. It crosses the Abhainn Camas Fhionnairigh near the sea hence it is tidal here. During wet weather rain and tides can combine to make crossing difficult, if not impossible. Beware! Camasunary is the Anglicised form of the name Camas Fhionnairigh and is so pronounced, meaning the bay of the white shieling.
In the background is the welcome sight of Camasunary bothy maintained by the estimable MBA.
