The rocky shore line is where millions of tons of coal waste was dumped from Prestonlinks Colliery at Prestonpans. The area has now been landscaped with the giant Cockenzie Power Station beyond (out of sight to the right of this scene) At sea, a tanker is at anchor awaiting the call for Grangemouth Oil Refinery.
