TQ6805 : Norman's Bay, Railway Station

3 km from Pevensey Bay, East Sussex, Great Britain

Norman's Bay, Railway Station
Norman's Bay, Railway Station
This station is just a halt and services do not stop here on a Sunday. Pevensey Bat Station is to the west and Cooden Beach Station is to the east. It is said that the station was first built during Victorian times when a huge whale beached nearby and so many spectators came to see it (some travelling from London to see the sight) that a temporary halt was erected.
