Grand Union Canal and Packhorse Bridge
Grand Union Canal and Packhorse Bridge
Viewed on a snowy February afternoon. The canal bridge is number 105 Packhorse Bridge. It takes its name from the nearby 15th Century old stone packhorse bridge of eight stone arches. The footbridge on the right carries the tow path across the point where a tributary of the River Soar joins the canal.
