Wheal Emma Leat
Wheal Emma Leat
This stone bridge takes an old track across the Wheal Emma Leat, which follows the line of gorse bushes and low trees. It appears to be going uphill here, but that is an illusion. The leat (now mainly dry) collected additional moorland water to feed into the River Mardle for powering Wheal Emma at Buckfastleigh.
