Memorial plaque on seat in St. Saviour's churchyard
Generations of the Goodall family have been living in Foremark since at least the mid-18th century, and probably much earlier. In the 18th,19th and earlier part of the 20th century most of them were involved in farming, including farming the nearby farm for the Burdett family, who were at the time owners of Foremark Hall. Around 20% or more of the tombstones in St. Saviour's churchyard are for members of the Goodall family, so it is very appropriate that this seat has been placed here in memory of family members.
