St. Saviour's Church (back view)
This is the back of Foremark's parish church. The window has stained glass dating from 1891, commissioned by Sir Francis Burdett, Bt., the seventh baronet. The gates in the foreground were made by Robert Bakewell (1682-1752), who was a celebrated craftsman in iron. He was very popular in Derbyshire and did a lot of work in Derby Cathedral.
