Halton Gill
Halton Gill
This steep sided valley cuts straight through a ridge at the eastern end of Halton Moor. The valley bottom is at around 280m and marks the line of a glacial overflow channel. There are similar channels at various heights on the east side of the Wharfe valley which match this one.
