Ploughing, Niddry
Ploughing, Niddry
An arable field against the backdrop of Niddry Bing. This shale bing, a remnant of the oil mining industry, has recently been quarried for roadstone. Should the new Forth Road Bridge be built, a lot of the approach roads will be underlaid by stone from this bing.
