Moor Sands: a closer look
Moor Sands: a closer look
Walkers who stay on the South West Coast Path will not see this beach. It is mainly of small creamy-coloured pebbles, very comfortable to walk and lie on. Shoulders of tortured rock thrust out to form secluded and sheltered suntraps. Clean sea. Colourful seaweeds at low tide. Lively waves. Absolutely no facilities apart from a rope to help you up or down. Access, from the southeast end only, requires care. Nevertheless it can get busy in summer and may attract boats. Southwest-facing, gets the sun all day. Clothing optional. Fabulous.
