Sheringham - the old railway station
Sheringham - the old railway station
Three fire buckets can be seen hanging from the wall. Built in the E&M pavilion style, Sheringham railway station opened on 16th June 1887 and was extended in 1896. The exterior of the current station building looks similar to the extended station and the canopy > LinkExternal link has recently been restored in its original style. The station also houses a museum signal box (on platform 2) and a tea room and gift shop.
