Scabbacombe Sands
Before the south-west coast path and the National Trust car parks nearby, Scabbacombe was remote and only sought out by a few. Now it is a welcome stop on the coast path because all the approaches are particularly steep. The northern half of the beach is still very secluded and peaceful. The clear water at the south end attracts scuba divers. The cliffs continue in SX9251 to Scabbacombe Head.
