Plan of St. Michael's Church, Garway
This shows the position of the original round nave, built by the Knights Templar. The Hospitallers replaced the circular nave with a conventional nave sometime in the 15th century. The parts coloured blue are the remains of the original structure and include a superb Norman style chancel arch.
The offset tower would have been separate from the nave when it was first built.
