Ryder's Hill
See SX6569 : Ryder's Hill and SX6569 : Ryder's Hill - Dartmoor. Ryder's Hill is the only point on the southern moor to rise above 500 metres, so this has long been a significant spot. "By the seventeenth century at the latest, the cairn on the highest point of Ryder's Hill has been known as Knattleborough or by variations of that name" (Butler, Jeremy: Dartmoor atlas of antiquities: Vol.4, the South-East, 1993).
