Estuarine marsh, river Colne
Estuarine marsh, river Colne
A fragment of tidal saltmarsh clings to the north bank of the river Colne. Looking downstream, Mersea Island and East Mersea can be made out on the skyline. The huge barge with sheerlegs is used to build the pylons for the ever growing offshore windfarm.
