Construction barge, Colne Estuary.
Taken from the seawall path looking from East Mersea across the river towards Brightlingsea. The huge barge with sheerlegs is used to fabricate the turbine pylons for a nearby wind farm.
The marsh and dune area outside the seawall is part of the Colne Estuary National Nature Reserve.
