SN6190 : The Leri marshes

taken 10 years ago, near to Borth, Ceredigion/Sir Ceredigion, Great Britain

The Leri marshes
The Leri marshes
This marshy area was the route by which the Afon Leri worked its way to the sea, before the building of the Leri cut, which diverted it to flow into the Dyfi estuary. In the distance, Borth golf club, built on reclaimed land, can be seen on the left, with the beginnings of Ynyslas on the right.
