Chancel arch, St. Michael's, Garway
Chancel arch, St. Michael's, Garway
Survives from the first stone built church on this site by the Knights Templar. Bears the typical roundness and chevron mouldings of the Norman period. The round nave of the time was built in the last quarter of the 12th century and would have been joined to the chancel via this arch.
