Rheilffyrdd wedi'u hailgysylltu - Railways reconnected
On Saturday 28 February 2009 the final sections of track were laid at Porthmadog Harbour Station, connecting the Welsh Highland Railway to the Ffestiniog Railway, thus completing a ten-year restoration of the route from Caernarfon to Porthmadog.
The Welsh Highland track can be seen on the right as it approaches from the Pont Britannia road crossing.
