Tram passengers walk down from the old station platform to access the trams.

The Seaton Tramway opened in 1970 on the tracked of the Seaton & Beer Railway. The 2'9" gauge tramway was a project by Claude Lane whose Lancaster Electrical Company manufactured battery vehicles for milk floats.
