Ashotts Lane is a bridleway, and its route towards Asheridge Farm is indicated by the lowest disc on the pole - a blue arrow pointing to the left - the blue colouration indicating that it is a bridleway. Above this blue disc can be seen two yellow discs - yellow indicates a footpath. The top arrow points straight ahead and indicates the footpath seen in SP9205 : Stile & footpath off Ashotts Lane which heads towards the main Asheridge lane passing Asheridge Cottage. The middle disc's yellow arrow points up slightly and to the right and is showing how to get to SP9205 : Path into Braid Wood to venture into Braid Wood.
