Former Post Office, Brockhampton
Former Post Office, Brockhampton
The black and white building was formerly the lodge to Brockhampton Court, which dates from 1893 and was home at this time to Arthur Foster and his wife Alice. They employed Faulkner Armitage, a Cheshire architect, to design Elizabethan-style additions to the house and the lodge. It has also served as the village post office but now appears to be a private dwelling.
