TL9511 : The breach, Tollesbury

taken 9 years ago, near to Tollesbury, Essex, Great Britain

The breach, Tollesbury
The breach, Tollesbury
The breach in the old seawall was made in 1995. It was originally 60 m wide. The estuary is on the left, the new tidal lagoon on the right.
Taken standing at the northern end of the breach with the tide coming in. An eerie experience probably best enjoyed in good weather!
